The Office for Student Affairs expects students at the University of Minnesota to participate in experiences both inside and outside of the classroom which allow them to develop and demonstrate skills and characteristics for success and citizenship during their college years and beyond.

In addition to helping to create a vibrant and positive campus environment, students participating in organizations or activities on campus also perform better in the classroom and are more likely to graduate in a timely manner.  The Student Learning & Development Outcomes are the focus of many of the services and programs provided by the Office for Student Affairs and can assist you in becoming a successful U of M student.
