The Office for Student Affairs (OSA) expects students at the University of Minnesota to participate in experiences both inside and outside of the classroom which allow them to develop and demonstrate skills and characteristics for success and citizenship during their college years and beyond. Students who engage in opportunities outside of the classroom not only develop these skills, but perform better in the classroom, feel a stronger sense of campus community, and are more likely to graduate in a timely manner.
The Engage! Search, supported by OSA, helps students find meaningful opportunities to get involved at the University of Minnesota and in the Twin Cities community.
Students will find an assortment of involvement, leadership and employment opportunities throughout OSA units. The Student Learning & Development Outcomes are the focus of many of these opportunities, designed to optimize student engagement and learning outside of the classroom.
